Data from the March edition of the Economic Mirror show that central government debt at the end of January 2023 amounted to 50.2% of the projected GDP. Consumer prices in January 2023 increased by 15.8% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Exchanging goods with foreign countries in January resulted in a foreign trade deficit. The index of total industrial production in AP Vojvodina in January decreased compared to the previous month.
There was a decrease in the employment rate in the labor market of Vojvodina for the population aged 15 and over in the fourth quarter of 2022 (50.1%) compared to the same quarter of 2021 (51.4%).
The number of unemployed persons in Vojvodina in January 2023 (97,717) decreased compared to January 2022 (87,577). In January, the average net salary in Vojvodina was RSD 78,593.
