The new wind turbine of Belgian Elicio in eastern Vojvodina

The Belgian company Elicio is laying down foundations for 21 wind turbines of the Alibunar wind farm in the eponymous location.

‎Peter Goderis, Director of Engineering, Construction & Operations at Elicio, says that this part of the job will be completed by the end of January.

After that, the delivery and the mounting of the components for 21 turbines to be installed within the project will last from February till the end of May.

According to him, all the works should be completed by September, when this facility, with 42 MW of planned power and worth EUR 80 million, is expected to start its test run.

This is a continuation of the investment of Elicio, which put four wind turbines within the Malibunar wind farm into operation in October 2017. This project, with 8 MW of power and worth EUR 14 million, began producing and delivering electricity regularly in November 2017.
