Seminar: Incentives for investments and new employment provided by the Vojvodina Government and by the Government of the Republic of Serbia

Organized by the Vojvodina Development Agency (RAV) this informative event that took place on June 4th in Novi Sad, brought together many representatives of foreign and domestic companies operating in Vojvodina.

We would like to thank all the companies that have participated, to our partners in organizing this event and (very often) our partners in business: German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce AHK Serbia, Advantage Austria Belgrade , the Slovenian Business Club and the Japanese Business Alliance in Serbia, as well as to the Serbian Development Agency and to the company Knot Autoflex YUG d.o.o.

The event was intended for all members of the above-mentioned business associations, who want to get more detailed information about subsidies at the provincial and republic level, especially if they are planning new investments or new employment in the future.

Information on ongoing and future public calls for subsidies was presented by RAS and RAV, while the representative of the company Knot Autoflex YUG d.o.o. spoke about their experiences as incentives beneficiary.

The development agency of Serbia presented in detail the rules for the allocation of republic subsidies for new investments under the Regulation on conditions and method of attracting direct investments, while the Vojvodina Development Agency presented conditions for the allocation of funds from the Budget fund for the implementation of development policy measures of AP Vojvodina.

From 2017 to 2019, more than 1 billion dinars were allocated through these funds of the Vojvodina Development Agency and the Provincial Secretariat for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation, and Local Self-Government to open over 1800 new jobs and to procure equipment for 42 companies.

The next public call will be announced in autumn, and all interested companies operating in the territory of Vojvodina can monitor ongoing subsidy calls on the website of the Vojvodina Development Agency.
