In a longstanding collaboration, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) provided a professional consultant from Japan to work at RAV for two years, from August 2021 to August 2023.

The joint project aimed to enhance the competitiveness of the food sector in Vojvodina, especially micro and small enterprises, as well as agricultural farms producing goods for domestic and foreign markets. The focus was on healthy food, organic food, and premium products.

The Japanese consultant worked on educating Vojvodina’s companies in implementing Japanese business organization systems, such as the 5S system.
