The August edition of the Economic Mirror shows that the central government’s debt at the end of June 2023 amounted to 51.7% of the projected GDP. Consumer prices in June increased by 13.7% compared to the previous year.
In the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, there was a trade deficit with foreign countries in May. The total industrial production index in Vojvodina increased in May compared to the previous month.
The labor market in Vojvodina is characterized by an increase in the employment rate for young people (aged 15-24) in the first quarter of 2023 (25.0%) compared to the same quarter in 2022 (24.5%). The number of unemployed individuals in June 2023 (81,554) decreased compared to June 2022 (90,548). In June, the average net salary in Vojvodina amounted to 80,768 RSD.
