Froneri Adriatic Ice Cream Factory opens in Stara Pazova

Froneri Adriatic Ice Cream Factory was opened by the company Froneri, formed in 2016 as a global joint venture in the field of ice cream, frozen food and cold dairy products by merging Nestlé and R&R. The total cost of renovation and expansion of Nestle plant cost 20 mil EUR.

Froneri in Serbia has been operating for 6 months, and thanks to new investments, the production capacities of Stara Pazova plant have increased by 60%.

Froneri Adriatic products on Serbian market are known under the name Nestlé ice cream, among which are Best, Nirvana, Topgun, Pirulo, Hit, Nesquik, Kit Kat, Aloma and Familia ice creams.

During the opening ceremony it has been highlighted that thanks to new investments, the company exports 95% of its products to 24 countries. Factory has 70 new permanent employees, including more than 350 seasonal workers.

Froneri has a turnover of approximately 2.6 billion EUR, successfully runs business in more than 20 countries worldwide and employs nearly 15,000 people.
