Data from the July issue of Economic Mirror show a trend of growth of Serbia’s gross domestic product per capita over the past five years. The same trend was observed in foreign currency private savings.
The index of total industrial production in Vojvodina in May 2019 increased compared to the previous month, and the value of Vojvodina’s foreign trade during May increased compared to the previous month.
In May, there was also a lower number of unemployed (110,201) than in May last year. (125.320). The employment rate of the working-age population in the first quarter of 2019 (59.2%) is higher than in the same period in 2018 (55.5%). In May, the average net salary in Vojvodina was 52,525 dinars, which is an increase compared to the previous month.
