The data from the December edition of the Economic Mirror shows that the central government’s debt at the end of October 2023 amounted to 51.6% of the projected GDP. Consumer prices in October 2023 increased by 8.5% compared to the same month the previous year.
In the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, a trade deficit was recorded in foreign trade in October. The index of total industrial production in Vojvodina increased in October compared to the previous month. The labor market in Vojvodina is characterized by a decrease in the employment rate for the population aged 15 and over in the third quarter of 2023 (49.6%) compared to the same quarter in 2022 (51.6%). The number of unemployed persons in Vojvodina in October 2023 (78,915) decreased compared to October 2022 (86,727). In October, the average net salary in Vojvodina was 82,241 RSD.
