The Supplier’s day, organized by the Development Agency of Vojvodina (RAV), gathered representatives from 150 companies from Serbia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
500 B2B companies meetings from the agriculture, automotive, plastics and rubber, textile and metal industries, as well as IT sectors were held.
President of Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, who opened this event, said that the incentives fund for all investors in the region of Vojvodina has been activated a month ago, that 350 million dinars for incentives have been allocated from the provincial budget for this year, and that this amount will increase in 2018.
Director of Vojvodina Development Agency, Nikola Zezelj, informed the representatives of the companies with the activities of the agency and the ways in which they can help them find a partner, as well as positioning on domestic or foreign markets.
In conference part of the event, demands of its supply chain where presented by companies Ametek, HealthCare Europe, Kolektor ATS, Mecafor and Univerexport. Presentations were held by the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS), Vojvodina ICT Cluster and Vojvodina Metal Cluster.
RAV plans to continue organizing such business meetings next year, in which they will connect big and larger companies that are looking for suppliers, and operate in the territory of Vojvodina, with SMEs from Serbia and the region.
