In December 2021, Vojvodina Development Agency conducted the 46th round of the Business Climate Survey in AP Vojvodina in which 234 companies from various sectors of activity participated. The main findings of the research show the positive expectations of businessmen in all surveyed segments: total business, cooperation with foreign clients, sales prices, and the number of employees.
The key topic was the competitiveness of companies with a focus on the process of standardization and certification of products and services. Standardization and certification of products/services are important factors in the competitiveness of companies, especially in foreign markets. Participants point out that the standardization of business quality (18.4%) would improve their current business.
The research findings show that 71.8% of the surveyed companies apply the standards in their business. After the standard implementation, 51.8% of participants joined the product/service certification process.
Companies wich still do not apply the standards in their business (28.2%) plan to implement them in the coming period.
