Region of Vojvodina will participate in the upcoming trade show of fresh fruit and vegetables Fruit Logistica which will take place in Berlin, from 6-8th February, 2019.
Under the auspices of the Provincial Government of Vojvodina and organized by Vojvodina Development Agency, eight companies which produce and sell fruit and vegetables will take part, as well as the City of Sombor.
Joint participation aims to promote domestic agricultural products and introduce the products of domestic companies into the foreign market, predominantly into the markets of Russia and EU countries.
Fruit Logistica is one of the largest international trade fairs in the sector of food industry, held annually and it includes participants such as: importers and exporters, manufacturers of fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables, wholesail and retail, transportation and logistics specialists. In 2018, 3,239 companies and organizations from around 84 countries took part, and 78,000 visitors from 130 countries attended the event.
The participation at this trade fair has been organized pursuant to the Agreement on the joint participation at the international trade fairs which was signed on 30th November 2017, by the Provincial Government, Vojvodina Development Agency, the City of Novi Sad, Subotica, Zrenjanin, Pancevo, Sombor, Sremska Mitrovica, Vrsac, Kikinda and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina.
